The Italian Two-wheeler maker revealed the new Officina 8 as a homage to Piaggio’s experimental department in Pontedera, Italy. The company positions this vehicle as a design-focused, limited style model with matching accessories.
The company launched the vehicle on February 12, 2026, with prices starting at ₹1.34 lakh (ex-showroom). However, the scooter will only be available at select showrooms.
The Vespa Officina 8 special edition introduces a dedicated paint finish called blue Officina 8. The colour draws inspiration from tools, machinery and workshop wear to signify its tribute. The designers have also added metallic rivets and brass and aluminium-toned accents, intended to create a sharp contrast against the blue bodywork.
Vespa also rolled out matching accessories and a merchandise range. A colour-matched helmet comes as standard equipment with every Officina 8 scooter. A blue top box finished in the same blue theme as an option.
With this launch, Vespa emphasises design identity and brand heritage. The company intends to place this scooter as a lifestyle-oriented scooter rather than a purely utilitarian one.
Deliveries have begun in select Vespa outlets across India, and availability may vary by region.
