The National Final of the 19th Edition of MercedesTrophy concluded at the Oxford Golf Resort in Pune, today. After 22 days of exhilarating golfing action that covered 11 cities and more than 2200 golfers from around the country, three players Sahil Jain, Murad Talib, Satish Cheeti emerged winners & will represent India at the MercedesTrophy World Final in October in Stuttgart, Germany. Mercedes-Benz raised funds for its global charity partner – Laureus Sport for Good Foundation in India. The esteemed patrons of the brand contributed whole-heartedly raising INR 16 Lakh, and Mercedes-Benz also contributed equally, raising a total fund of INR 32 Lakh.
The three winners of the MercedesTrophy National Final will now compete against winners from 600 tournaments played in 60 countries across the world at the 30th edition of the MercedesTrophy World Final in Stuttgart, Germany. The MercedesTrophy is one of the world’s most prestigious corporate golf tournaments. This illustrious event, with a legacy of over 25 years, offers Indian golfers the opportunity to rendezvous with the greens while they rub their shoulders with some of the game’s most successful proponents internationally.
