TVS Apache RR 310 officially launched in India at Rs. 2.05 Lakhs (Ex-Showroom). The Apache RR 310 is the production version of Akula concept shown at 2016 Auto Expo. The engine is 310 cc reverse inclined DOCH liquid cooled fuel injected unit producing 34 PS of power at 9700 RPM and 27.3 NM of torque at 7700 RPm. This engine is mated to 6 speed gearbox which is tuned for quick shifting. 0-60 kph in 2.9 sec and top speed is 165 kph.
TVS Apache RR 310 get trellis frame for superior handling and stability along with KYB tuned upside down forks and mono suspension. TVS has given dual channel ABS as a standard feature in Apache RR 310 along with bi-twin projector headlamps, vertical fully digital instrument cluster which displays usual stuffs like speedo, odo etc with gear shift indicator, lap timing and race diagnostics.
TVS also made lots of emphasis on reducing drag as the front visor and fairing are also design to reduce drag. To improve cooling for engine, Apache RR 310 get gill vents in cowl. Initially Apache RR 310 will be available only in Red and Black colours but TVS has confirmed that they will introduce more in coming months. The booking of Apache RR 310 will begin at the end of this month and deliveries will start early next year.
