BMW enthusiasts have been waiting for a very long time to see the production version of i8 Roadster. The i8 Roadster concept made its debut back in 2012 but BMW took almost 6 years to introduce production version. In this time frame, the regular model received mid-life facelift also. The latest teaser reveals updated LED headlight and DRLS design which is similar to the roadster model.
BMW hasn’t given details about the engine upgrade of Roadster model yet. According to rumours, Roadster will get more power and increased range thanks to bigger battery. We can also expect an update for petrol engine in i8. The Roadster is 2 seater of 4 seater is also not confirmed. BMW is expected to reveal new i8 Roadster later tonight.
