The next generation Mercedes-benz GLS will have its ultra-luxurious Maybach counterpart for the first time in its history,and likely to debut in the international market later this year.The production facility for this luxury SUV is set-up in the Alabama plant in the U.S.
Mercedes-Benz USA’s CEO Dietmar Exler said that the Maybach GLS will be “a halo car” that will “help build the Mercedes brand,” adding that there is the potential for additional Maybach models in the future, most likely based on Benz’s existing “top luxury cars.”
