Land Rover Refreshes Discovery Line-up with New Landmark Edition

Land Rover has updated the Discovery line-up for 2026 with the introduction of the new Landmark Edition, joining the range alongside the flagship Tempest and entry-level Discovery S. The refreshed line-up focuses on offering more choice for buyers while reinforcing the Discovery’s reputation as one of the most capable seven-seat luxury SUVs on sale.

New Landmark Edition Grabs Eyeballs

The biggest update is the arrival of the Discovery Landmark. Inspired by the original Discovery launched in 1989, the special edition gets an exclusive Tasman Blue exterior finish, unique Landmark badging, Graphite Atlas exterior accents and new 21-inch Dark Agate Grey alloy wheels.

Inside, the Landmark features dark grey brushed aluminium trim with Landmark branding, Tech Velour dashboard inserts, a sliding panoramic sunroof and a centre console refrigerator, adding a touch of luxury for long family journeys.

Tempest Gets New Colour Options

The Discovery Tempest continues as the flagship model in the range and now gets a new Borasco Grey paint option, exclusive to the variant. Matte protective paint film comes as standard, while Petra Copper accents on the roof, wheels and exterior details help distinguish it from the rest of the line-up.

Buyers can also choose from new Light Oyster and Caraway interior themes with premium Windsor leather upholstery.

Discovery S Keeps Things Practical

The Discovery S remains the entry point into the range but retains the SUV’s signature practicality. It comes equipped with wireless phone charging, multiple USB ports, generous storage spaces, and seating for seven, making it a practical choice for everyday family use.

Adventure Packs Return

Land Rover continues to offer its lifestyle-focused accessory packs, including:

  • For Dogs Pack
  • Biking Adventures Pack
  • Beach Days Pack
  • Road Trip Pack
  • Snow Days Pack

Each pack adds purpose-built accessories for different lifestyles, ranging from pet carriers and bike racks to roof boxes and ski equipment.

Capability Remains A Key Strength

Despite the cosmetic updates, the Discovery remains one of the most capable SUVs in its class.

Highlights include:

  • Seven-seat layout
  • Terrain Response 2
  • All Terrain Progress Control
  • 900mm water wading capability
  • 3,500kg towing capacity
  • Advanced Tow Assist

Final Take

The Discovery’s update isn’t revolutionary, but it doesn’t need to be. The new Landmark Edition adds a welcome layer of exclusivity, while the refreshed line-up continues to build on what the Discovery has always done best, offering genuine off-road capability, everyday practicality and luxury in one well-rounded package.
