Maruti Suzuki Swift scores two stars in Global NCAP

8 Oct 2018: Global NCAP results of the suzuki swift are out and this popular hatchback among the Indians got a low two star rating for safety.

The Vitara Brezza from the Maruti Suzuki stable secured the four-star rating at the Global NCAP recently. But, What has actually put the swift to low rating is based on the grounds of higher impact to the drivers chest, poor protection to drivers feet and an unstable structure.
Global NCAP had tested the previous-generation Swift back in 2014, and that model – without airbags and Isofix anchorages – was rated zero stars. While Global NCAP notes the improvement Maruti Suzuki has made with the new Swift, But,what has to be noted is that Swift being sold in the India has performed poorly compared to the model sold in Europe.
