McLaren is preparing to slash prices across its India lineup, with reductions of up to ₹3.3 crore expected on select models.
The move comes ahead of the implementation of the India-UK Comprehensive Economic and Trade Agreement (CETA), which is set to significantly reduce import duties on qualifying British-built vehicles.
Key Highlights:
According to sources familiar with the company’s plans, McLaren is preparing substantial revisions to its India pricing structure.
Expected India Prices
If implemented, the reductions would represent some of the largest price cuts ever seen in India’s supercar market.
The expected revisions stem from the India-UK Comprehensive Economic and Trade Agreement, which will reduce customs duties on qualifying UK-built vehicles.
Under the agreement:
Both the McLaren 750S and GTS are powered by a 4.0-litre twin-turbocharged V8 engine, making them eligible for the lower tariff band.
McLaren isn’t the first British manufacturer to react to the changing landscape.
Jaguar Land Rover recently reduced prices of its flagship performance SUVs, cutting the Range Rover SV by ₹75 lakh and the Range Rover Sport SV by ₹40 lakh. However, those reductions amounted to around 15-18 per cent, significantly lower than the cuts McLaren is expected to introduce.
While the trade agreement was signed in July 2025, it has not yet formally come into force. Final implementation still requires ratification by both governments, meaning no duty reductions are currently active.
As a result, manufacturers adjusting prices now are effectively pricing in the expected benefits ahead of the agreement’s official rollout.

If the proposed pricing materialises, the McLaren 750S could suddenly find itself much closer to rivals from Ferrari, Lamborghini and Porsche in terms of value.
The move could also trigger similar action from other British luxury brands such as Bentley, Rolls-Royce and Aston Martin, all of which stand to benefit from the same tariff reductions once the trade agreement becomes operational.
