TVS Motor Company is preparing to launch the all-new Norton Atlas later this year, with production set to take place in India at the company’s Hosur manufacturing facility in Tamil Nadu.
The motorcycle will mark one of the first mainstream Norton models to be fully manufactured in India after TVS acquired Norton Motorcycles.

Powering the Atlas will be a new 585cc parallel-twin engine featuring a 270-degree crank setup.
The motorcycle uses a steel trellis frame architecture with the engine acting as a stressed member for improved rigidity and handling.

TVS will also equip the bike with a 6-axis IMU electronics package.
TVS could price the Norton Atlas between ₹ 6 lakh and ₹ 6.5 lakh, making it a direct rival to several premium middleweight adventure motorcycles in India. Main rivals may include Honda NX500 E and Kawasaki Versys 650.
