Interior Design sketch of the Skoda Enyaq iV revealed ahead of the Global unveil

Despite being shorter than the new Octavia, Skoda claims the interior space will match up with the Kodiaq

Just before the global unveiling on September 1, Skoda gave a glimpse of the interiors of the upcoming Enyaq iV. The car will be the brand’s first fully-electric model which will be based on Volkswagen’s MEB platform.

Just to remind you, the MEB is Volkswagen’s platform that underpins cars like the ID.3 hatchback. The absence of a transmission tunnel in this platform favors in ensuring the car feels airier than conventional cars.

The design sketch shows that the Enyaq will get a storage cubby underneath the center console and will also get a multi-level dashboard. Skoda has also revealed that the car will get 585 liters of boot space, a 13-inch central touch screen infotainment system, and a head-up display with AR capabilities.

Skoda claims there is a generous amount of space at the rear meaning there will be a decent amount of legroom. Space is expected to match the Skoda Kodiaq SUV despite being shorter than the new Octavia.
